Tutorials and tests
Learning is integrated with assessments that enable users to verify and consolidate their knowledge on the topics they have learnt.
Tutorials enable users to verify whether a topic has been understood or needs reviewing. Users can assess their knowledge through self-assessment tests or simulated interactive tests, which are similar to those they will have to complete during the ICDL test (simulations, tests and ordering tasks).
The final part of each section contains tests and interactive simulated questions on the topics described during the lessons.

Simulated questions
Simulated questions interactively simulate the features of the system or applications that users are expected to complete following the audio instructions of the tutor.
Several simulations ask users to interactively perform a task, as they would normally be expected to do when using the application. Users are expected to complete the task using one of the several procedures available.
To allow users to thoroughly prepare for the exam, some simulations specifically require the selection of one procedure only.

Instructions and Hints
Simulated questions also include "hints" targeted to assist users in selecting the correct question. The first level of help is provided in textual format to allow users to follow the correct procedure to perform the required task.
Users who are unable to complete the task despite the hint, can select the "View Help" option that describes in detail the operations that have to be performed to complete the task correctly.

Personal reports
At the end of each step of the interactive tutorial, a feedback on the reply provides a visual or acoustic indication on whether the question has been answered correctly or not.
Users may complete all the steps or skip some of them in order to display the final report that summarizes and tracks all the replies provided.
The results section provides information on the users' performance, on the number of correct replies, on the use of the help tools and on the topics that need reviewing.
